Research Vessel to Lobster Yacht Tour Party Boat Conversion

It’s been a long winter and spring getting the new and improved Plan Sea ready for the summer season. Originally a research vessel from from the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine, Captain Dave has spent the last six months completely retrofitting the vessel to be a luxury downeast lobster yacht. In addition to replacing and refurbishing the mechanical and safety systems on board, Captain Dave added teak-trimmed furniture including a beautiful wet bar, an ample storage area and seating for 22 passengers! The cabin, the pilot-house, the head (bathroom) have all been expertly remodeled with teak and mahogany trim and custom Sunbrella cushions outfit the cabin’s furniture. Plan Sea is a gorgeous and truly unique vessel around the Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and we hope you visit her soon!
