As we cruise, watch for the Scottish Highland cattle that like to hang out on the beach and take a refreshing dip or let the captain regale you with the history, fun facts, and insider information. The motor vessel, Plan Sea, takes about three hours to cruise to Cuttyhunk. We stop in Cuttyhunk for two hours, where you can grab some lunch or treat yourself to some homemade ice cream. You won’t have to worry about traffic problems, but do keep a lookout for golf carts – the best way to get around the island.
